Event Photography: The Frick Collection  > Young Fellows Events > 2005 Young Fellows Ball
On February 24, 2005, the Young Fellows of The Frick Collection hosted their sixth annual Winter Ball. The Vice-Chairs were Lisa Gorrivan, Robert Lindgren, and Catherine Sitrick Shepard. “A Dance in the Golden Age” drew its inspiration from the great Old Masters in the Collection, specifically Vermeer and Rembrandt. The theme of this year’s party was reflected in the dress code, “Black Tie, Fur, and 17th-Century Chic,” and many guests were suitably attired in elegant creations by fashion designer J. Mendel and jewelry designed by David Yurman, two of the three co-chairs for the evening (First Republic Bank was the third co-sponsor).

The sixth annual Winter Fête hosted by The Frick Collection's Young Fellows raised $250,000 in support of the museum's education program. This year's theme event "A Dance in the Golden Age" was inspired by 17th-century portraiture in the museum's holdings. This highly anticipated party was generously sponsored by J. Mendel, David Yurman, and First Republic Bank, as well as Thornwillow Press, Moet & Chandon Champagne, Robert Couturier & Associates, and Glorious Food.
